Sheeps on the ascent to Weisshornhut.
I really like this kind of sheeps. They don't look as silly
as normal sheeps ... ;-)

some of them followed me ...
The left sheep is looking quite intelligent,
doesn't it? ;-)

Weisshornhut (2932m)
A little hut with only 30 beds and a very kind hut-keeper: Luzius.
I even got a little summit-peck by him ;-).
He edited (together with Ernesto Perren) a nice book on the occasion
of the 100-year-anniversary of the Weisshornhut:
"Am
Wege zur leuchtenden Pyramide"

only 2 other persons besides me
climbed Weisshorn at all ...

(I am surprised about the photos, since I could not look through
my camera in order to focus on me/my place ... I just put my camera on
a stone and tried to focus well on me by estimating ...)

There is quite a lot of new snow on the mountains on that side of
Matter-Valley in contrast to
